What is a commitment period?

When you get a landline service with Orange at a promotional price and/or with a discount associated to your home broadband, you are required to continue with Orange for a certain amount of time specified in your contract. This amount of time, is called "commitment period".

These commitments are usually of permanence at the provider (minimum amount of time which you must stay at Orange) and in some cases there is also a commitment to permanence with the product acquired.
